Flowers in paintings is a curated photo-book highlights flowers depicted in European oil paintings from 1400 to 1900, with the collection sourced from the Metropolitan Museum of Art. 

By cropping the flowers from the original paintings, the book draws the audience's focus to the intricate details of the floral elements, allowing for a deeper appreciation of their beauty and craftsmanship.
